The Day Shall Come is a 210 x 105 cm triptych collage that reinterprets the biblical tale of Noah’s Ark in which the aliens take the animals away to be reproduced/crossed elsewhere – without us.

I included in the composition strange ‘astroarks’ and six chimeras, such as the large ‘horsefin’ that dominates this great animal orgiastic stampede. I hid in the group five animal chimeras generated with the artificial intelligence algorithm Dall-E 2, then post produced, printed, cut, and glued over the wooden board.

The collage was firstly presented during an ‘open house’ exhibition in collaboration with leader real estate agency Engel & Völkers in October 2022, in Rome.

Also this triptych is narratively connected with The Next Day (2023) and it represent its first act.

Both collages were exhibited during the competition/art show Space One II  organised by Studio Cico gallery in collaboration with La Sapienza University of Rome at the School of Aerospace Engineering.
