L’Amorista

A collage portraing the digital afterlife of Bernardo Marziani, son of arti curator Gianluca Marziani.

“I defined my son Bernardo as an AMORIST—that is, someone who, through his work, traced lines of love every day that connected, regenerated, and gave meaning. An incredibly difficult profession that can only be practiced if you possess the GRACE within.”

– Gianluca Marziani

The Amorist is a work created in memory of Bernardo Marziani, son of curator Gianluca Marziani and writer and journalist Elena Martelli. Bernardo was a luminous and deeply singular young soul, loved for his grace, freedom, and rare sensitivity.

He seemed to belong as much to the future as to the present, embodying a form of beauty untouched by convention: fluid, vital, gentle, and already beyond the limits of ordinary identity. In this composition, his image enters into dialogue with a golden divine presence inspired by Inanna/Ishtar, while coral, planets, and circuit-like lines weave together love, nature, myth, and technology.

The work becomes both portrait and passage: a vision of Bernardo as a cosmic being, suspended between human tenderness and posthuman transcendence, where love survives as light, code, and eternal connection.
