“Gioco Pericoloso” 3/3 (Collage)

Collage created for the film Gioco Pericoloso, directed by Lucio Pellegrini and starring Elodie, Adriano Giannini, and Eduardo Scarpetta, currently in theaters.
This collage—produced in five copies for production requirements—delves into the disturbed psyche of the protagonist, Peter Drago. After photographing his parents in a state of drug-induced vulnerability, Drago manipulates their bodies, distorting their features to transform them into “damned figures” suspended over a lake of blood.
For the background, I utilized a frame from my short film Microcosmo, featuring the EUR lake in Rome. This original imagery was then expanded using AI to adapt it to the final 200 x 107 cm scale. The only surviving copy from the set has been hand-finished with a pour of epoxy resin, a process that enhances the depth and color saturation of the piece.
